A deep-dive into the practices of community journalism.

Interested in developing your community journalism skills? In this all-day workshop we’ll cover a broad spectrum of topics including;

  • News writing
  • Editing copy
  • Journalism Tips (curating, collaboration, fact checking)
  • Radio Voice Training

Whether you’re just starting out or have prior experience, this workshop will take your skills to the next level.

Come prepared for hands-on experience in community journalism.

bethemediaThis workshop builds on an entire year of WRFI workshops. We’ve been able to adapt and merge curriculums, incorporating feedback from prior participants. Our curriculum and planning for this workshop is our best work yet, and we’re excited to open up registration early for WRFI volunteers.

A Healthy Breakfast will be provided, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day.
