Details: Many Worlds Are Possible!

Thank you for confirming your RSVP for the Many Worlds Are Possible Dinner. While planning the event Heidi and I have been meeting new people, connecting with organizations we want to support, and overall having fun.

Are you ready for an amazing meal???

So many people signed up that we increased the catering order to 120 to make sure there was enough food. Yum!

Please help us make this a successful event and feed everyone by pitching in.

Enat Menu

The Menu, Enat Ethiopian Cuisine

  • Kik Alicia Wet : Split yellow peas cooked in special turmeric sauce.
  • Misir Wet : red split lentils cooked with onions, garlic, and spicy berbere sauce
  • Key Sir Wet : Beets and potatoes cooked with onions then mixed with sliced jalapenos
  • Atkilit : Delicious curried vegetable stew made with carrots, cabbage, and onions
  • Fosolia : String beans, often sautéed with carrots and caramelized onions

All entrees are served with Injera (the traditional Ethiopian flatbread) and brown rice.

The GiveGab platform gives you the option to register or donate, but there's no difference – it all goes toward the goal. Thanks!

Important details about your RSVP

  • Your RSVP tells us how many catering orders to place w/ Enat Ethiopian Cuisine.
  • If that number isn't correct or you want to update the amount of people in your party, please reply to Ryan's email or contact support@alternativeslibrary.org
  • There is free parking in the lot here at Anabel Taylor Hall after 5pm, and there are some other lots around that are available after 5pm. Make sure to read the signs.
  • There is a wheelchair accessible parking spot and entrance on College ave on the front of the building. Contact me if you need any more information about accessibility. The building just had an upgrade so there is now a wheelchair accessible bathroom as well. Yay!

Pitching in Toward Your Meal

  • We're suggesting a donation of $15 - $25 per-person for the dinner, although no pressure at all (seriously).
  • If you would like to contribute more to help us accommodate everyone, please do, we appreciate your generosity!

So, see you tomorrow at 6pm!

It's always nerve-wracking to plan a big event with live music, food, exhibitions, a presentation, and art show. Especially in the winter where things could take a turn (knock on wood). So far the weather's looking good enough for travel and I promise you it will be cozy, festive, and relaxed when you arrive around 6pm.

Best,
Ryan
