Thank you! Our Podcast is fully supported

Last month I wrote a quick blog post about a plan to release a podcast from the Durland Alternatives Library about the ways people are taking action to implement solutions to some of today’s challenges.

Today I’m happy to announce that the project is fully funded! We were asking for a modest $300, just enough to afford hosting services. By partnering with WRFI Community Radio we saved tons of money and was able to benefit from training and studio time. Thanks WRFI!

Sustainable Tompkins also stepped up to support the project. Their mission is to “…promote the long-term well-being of our region by integrating social equity, economic vitality, ecological stewardship, and shared responsibility.”

Their neighborhood mini-grant program was a perfect fit for the podcast, so we re-routed our fundraising energy toward other programs and we’re calling this project fully funded!

Thanks Sustainable Tompkins and WRFI Community Radio!
