Closed for Construction (and spring break)

We’ll have very irregular hours during Cornell Spring Break, and we’re also using this opportunity to repair some of the floor damage that occurred during the whole pipes bursting situation.

Here are the dates:

  • March 28th : Last day to come to the library and checkout books before we close for 10 days
  • March 29th – April 8th : Library is closed for construction and spring break
  • April 9th : Library re-opens to the public w/ a renewed sense of purpose and a clean floor

April 4th – Advisory board meeting & section review

We’re opening the library on April 4th for a few hours to host a meeting for anyone interested in learning more about our programs, and participating in a section review. This is where we take a section of the library (like health for example) and review it… brainstorming books or topics which should be included, and removing items which are no longer relevant to that section. April 25th – 3rd Annual DAL Spring Math Night

It’s back! Elementary students in all grades PreK-5th and their entire families are invited to the 3rd Annual Spring Math Night. Children and parents alike will have a chance to learn about the variety of alternative math games, puzzles, and tools available for free checkout that can spark fascination, engagement, and empowerment in mathematics.
