Meet the Hosts
Kwame Acheampong and Ashawna Abbott have teamed up with library director Ryan Clover to create and produce this podcast. This is also happening with the support of Community Radio WRFI, which we’ll feature in episode 1.
We’re a small team inspired by all the awesome books at the Durland Alternatives Library. Through our library work we’ve met some amazing people around Ithaca who demonstrate real, viable alternatives. We wanted to learn more!
Launching June 2017
We’re going to launch this project in time to eat fresh strawberries, go swimming in the gorges, and meet a bunch of people for season two.
All through the summer we’ll be releasing a new episode every week. Our goal is to show you that another world is possible – and happening already. We’re bringing you real life examples of Alternatives in Action.
