Celebrate People’s History – Art Show Through November
September 19, 2014/
“Celebrate People’s History – a visual journey through social movements past and present”
Pictures speak 1,000 words–and the poster series (over 100 posters total!) contain a vast history of social movements, people’s empowerment, and resistance. The posters are published by the Just Seeds Artist Cooperative, an international group of artists covering a wide variety of social movements. The show also includes original print editions by Just Seeds artists. The Durland Alternatives Library curates a collection of this art to further it’s mission of social transformation.
Opening from 5pm to 7:30 pm
